Carving in leatherwork is the process of engraving images on the leather itself using an iron rod. At Inokura Leather, we sometimes make carvings according to customer requests, but this carving process takes a lot of time and effort. For this reason, I often avoided it, but the finished product looks great.
Although it is little by little, I am planning to put more effort into carving for those who request it and for the future of Inokura Leather.
Basically, it will be based on floral designs and patterns, but I am also thinking of pictures that are typical of Inokura and leather. Please bring your own original marks and pictures. (^^)
