"Desert boots" are ankle-length shoes that were once worn by British soldiers while walking through the desert. The Sjaelland has a design that has not changed since the company was founded and is one of Duckfeet's signature shoes.

All of the leather is tanned by hand using plants, giving the leather an uneven surface with shading, scratches, and other signs of life.

"Sjaelland" is the name of the largest island in Denmark. It is the 95th largest island in the world. The island contains the capital city of Copenhagen, which has a population of 1.3 million, and is home to numerous towns and cultural scenes. The "Oresund Bridge" on the east side of the island connects neighboring Sweden and Denmark.
